Marketing Associate

The Marketing/Design Associate reports to the Designer and is responsible for assisting in the creation of marketing materials, both in print and digital formats. An understanding of typography, layout, composition, and color are all needed to help the team produce the best work possible.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage any document change orders (DCOs) that are placed by various cross function teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Regulatory, and Document Control
  • Update current marketing materials on an ‘as needed’ basis. This includes assisting international with any requests they receive from OUS distributors
  • Work with Marketing Coordinator to create social media assets to successfully promote the brand
  • Assist in creating attractive and effective new online training modules
  • Manage Help Desk Tickets (Smartsheet.com)
  • File Paperwork

Professional Experience: (Education, Job Experience, Certification, Physical Requirements, Abilities).

An excellent knowledge of the following tools is required:

  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Photoshop
  • Office 365 including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook

An understanding of the following is preferred:

  • WordPress including the Divi Theme
  • HTML, CSS, & JS
  • Articulate 360 including Rise, Studio, and Quizmaker
  • Bartender Label Maker
  • Workfront

Skills required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A determination to achieve and succeed
  • Some creative industry experience
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • A background of working as part of a design team
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to production
  • Consistency regardless of project size
  • Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
